One of the top niggles for Tenants is who pays for what and how quickly they do it. No one like the pressure of having to keep tally of all the bills and keep note of all the different suppliers, and no one wants a squabble when one person (inevitably) doesn’t pay the right amount or pays it late, or perhaps not even at all. We all know that one guy who never sets up a standing order!

This is why for 2018, we’ve made some improvements on to how we let our properties to students. “No fees. No fighting. No fuss.” That’s our motto for this season as we try our best to remove some of the headaches that come with sharing a property with others… even when they are your best mates!

Firstly, we’ve scrapped the tenancy fees – or signing fees – that you used to pay when taking on a property. We know you don’t like them, so they have gone this year.

Secondly, every student property we let this year comes with bill included in the price. So the price (per person, per week) that you see is the price you pay INCLUDING BILLS. Not only does that remove one point of potential friction in the house but it makes things way easier when it comes to your monthly budget. Juggling finances isn’t easy but with a flat figure to pay every month, you can at least know what to expect.

So what’s included?

With our standard bills package – that is already included in all our student properties this year – we take care of all the necessities for you (including TV license and broadband of course):

• 100mb Broadband with Virgin WiFi
• TV Licence
• Gas
• Electric
• Water

What if I want more?

If you are big on streaming movies, gaming or a social media junkie, you might want to upgrade to our premium bills package for just an extra fiver (per person, per week) as this also comes with:

• 300MB VIVID Broadband
• Virgin TIVO TV Box
• 40″ Smart TV
• Netflix – free for 6 months

Yes, that’s right – it includes an actual 40″ smart TV!
