HOP was brought on to turn things around at a development in East Leeds, after it had been neglected by its previous management company. Cleaning wasn’t to standard, fire and other testing wasn’t correctly followed and, overall, the service charge and the management fees were extremely high.
Our key focus was bringing everything into line in terms of compliance, health & safety checks and cleanliness, which had been neglected despite the leaseholders previously paying a hefty service charge.
We worked together to create a new service charge that would cover every aspect of the building management – with a focus on efficiency and eradicating overspending. Our team offered a hands-on and personal approach, so that any issues could be resolved quickly by HOP’s friendly, accessible team.
Ultimately, we were actually able to bring the service charge down, while increasing the overall quality of services that were being delivered.
