Taking over 11,000 sq ft of Trinity Leeds, buffet restaurant chain Cosmo opened the first of two planned eateries for the city yesterday. The sister restaurant will be located in the burgeoning Arena district, set to open in 2014. With the former creating 50 jobs and the latter creating 60, over one-hundred new jobs will result from the venture.
James Brion, creative director at Cosmo, said, “We’ve been closely watching Leeds emerge as one of the top five cities in the UK so the location was an obvious choice for us when we were analysing new towns and cities to expand our growing portfolio of restaurants across the UK.
“By forging ahead and launching two restaurants it’s clear to see we acknowledge the potential in Leeds and are eager to bring our unique pan Asian and world banquet dining experience to the city’s diners.”
The cuisine on offer includes Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Malaysian, Caribbean, Mexican, Indian, Brazilian, Italian and – the best cuisine in the world – British. Come on, who doesn’t love a cottage pie?
