Covid 19 Guidelines for the Property Market

As a new Covid-19 variant Omicron develops, new measures have been put in place in the lead up to Christmas. Masks are now compulsory in shops and shopping centres, transport hubs and on public transport across England.

Facemasks are legally required in all Estate and Letting Agency offices.

The safety of our customers and staff is of the upmost importance to us here at HOP. We will be ensuring that customers and contractors entering all 3 of our offices in Leeds, Pudsey and Horsforth are wearing facemasks. Hand sanitiser will also continue to be available in our offices.

In addition, face coverings will be mandatory on all face-to-face appointments. This includes viewings, appraisals, check ins, inspections and any maintenance visits.

Where possible HOP will be offering Online Viewings via Virtual Tour to applicants, which will help minimise face-to-face contact. Virtual Tours allow viewers to take a look inside a property from the comfort of their own home. The interactive tours are a vital in the current fast paced market, allowing viewers to apply for a property instead of waiting for a viewing.

The new Covid-19 rules are due to be reviewed in 3 weeks-time by Boris Johnson. HOP will monitor any changes whilst continuing to keep our staff and customers safety at the forefront.
