Following on from the success of London’s ‘Cereal Killer’, the first cereal bar opened in Britain, two students from Leeds Beckett University are opening their very own cereal café in Headingley.
Jennifer Gibb and Zoe Blogg, both 23, came up with the idea in their final year of university prior to graduating in order to bring their love of breakfast cereal to the wider market. The pair have said that it was often a running joke in their student house about how much cereal they were eating; opening a café to offer the same experience to the public seems like the logical next step.
Moo’d will be opening at 59 Otley Road on Friday 13th February and will offer a range of flavoured milks, teas, coffee and smoothies alongside their staggering selection of over 100 types of cereal. They offer cereal at £2 a bowl but also offer kids portions as well as a reported ‘Man vs Food’ style mega-bowl.
