Celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee was a fun and exciting event for everyone this year, and what better way to remember it than creating a unique keep-sake with the help of children in the local community.
In June, we teamed up with three schools in Horsforth to design and produce hundreds of commemorative Queen’s Jubilee themed tea-towels. We invited pupils from St Margaret’s, Featherbank and Broadgate Primary School’s to draw us a Jubilee themed picture of their choice to feature in the design – and what fabulous drawings we received!
We were overwhelmed by the creative and detailed drawings that we received that ranged from Union Jacks and Corgis, to Crowns, Big Ben and even drawings of Queen Elizabeth ll herself. The drawings were put together to create beautiful, colourful tea-towels personalised for each year group. Each child took home their own celebratory tea-towel to ensure the special occasion was not forgotten.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with local Primary Schools, and the very talented children of Horsforth, to mark such a historic occasion. We received so many incredible designs and the finished result is something to treasure for years to come.

The designs are also being displayed on large banners outside each school for the children and parents to enjoy.
Keep your eyes peeled for our tea-towels in family homes across Horsforth!
