Is Leeds a Campus University and What Does This Mean for Me?
The University of Leeds is indeed a campus university and this means that for your first year, you should be able to stay in the halls of residence, which are located on the campus itself. You won’t, therefore, have to worry about finding a flat or house to share with friends until at least the second year of your studies. In addition to accommodation, the University of Leeds campus has many great social and academic facilities:
- Libraries – As you would expect, there are a number of excellent libraries on campus, including a specialist health sciences library.
- Lecture Theatres – You will find a number of superbly equipped lecture theatres on the University of Leeds campus.

- Language Laboratories – Modern language labs make it easy for undergraduates to immerse themselves in their studies as soon as they arrive on campus.
