The newly released RetailVision Report 2013 from Callcredit Information Group has placed Leeds above Nottingham, grabbing seventh spot (fourth outside London), having generated an estimated £685m of retail revenue – an increase of approximately 48.5m compared to last year.

Leeds Trinity was the only notable large-scale retail development in the UK this year, allowing Leeds to climb the retail rankings while others remained stable.

The report uses data from over 17,000 retail centres across the UK, providing a detailed picture of the national retail landscape.

It just so happens that Trinity Leeds picked up another award just last week, being named “Best Retail Real Estate Development in City” at MAPIC 2013.

While still trailing our local retail rival Manchester by a good £235m, the unprecedented leasing performance of Trinity Leeds has demonstrated the high strength of retailer confidence in the scheme and in Leeds city centre.
