New Tenant Information – 1st July 2017

We’ve put together some important information for you to help make the process of moving in as smooth as possible.

A summary of the move in process is below:

• Picking Up Your Keys – your keys will be available to collect from our Burley Road office from Saturday 1st July 2017 between 1pm and 4pm. You must bring your passport or driving license as form of ID when you collect your keys.

• Your Property – The previous Tenants will be vacating your property 24 hours before you are due to move in, after which the property will be thoroughly checked and professionally cleaned. Keys cannot be released to you until the professional clean is complete.

• Paying your Rent – Your first rent payment is due one week before the move in date. So, if you are moving in on 1st July 2017, your initial rent payment is due on 23rd June 2017. Your rent payment is due in line with your Tenancy Agreement, so if you have any queries regarding payments, please refer back to your Tenancy Agreement. Please be aware Let Leeds has a zero tolerance on rent arrears, late payment fees of £48 will be charged for any arrears.

• Inventory – You will receive your Inventory within a week of moving into the property. This is a full list of everything in the property and the condition it is in.

• Initial Maintenance – Any maintenance that you would like to report to us at the start of your Tenancy will need to be reported on Fixflo, our online maintenance portal:
