Trying to find a house can be a real headache, especially once you’ve just started your second semester.

When looking for student housing, an important decision to make with your housemates-to-be is whether to have bills inclusive or not. A guarantor is a person that covers rent or any arrears should you be unable to pay – for students, the guarantor is usually a parent or guardian. Simple!

Don’t get tricked into signing a Tenancy Agreement straight away and always ask whether you get a cooling-off period!
