Work on Holt Park fitness centre commences

The centre, to be named the Holt Park Active Living Centre, will be the first of its kind in the UK and will combine adult social care, youth and sports services all under one roof.

The centre will be replacing the old Holt Park Leisure Centre and will be based in Holtdale Approach. The centre will feature a hydrotherapy pool, 25-metre swimming pool, multi-activity rooms, café and meeting areas, a hub for older people and those with learning disabilities, as well as a bodyline gym, activity hall, garden and studio area.
